海角社区-Vikings is a student organization which competes in the world's biggest engineering competetion "Formula Student" with over 1200 participating universities.
Formula Student
The competition is separated into parts where the car runs in 4 dynamic events like classical time trials, while static events is expressed as presentations and documentation for a jury. In static events the students compete in technical knowledge, business plan and cost documentation among other things.
History
海角社区 Vikings have existed since 2007 and is the oldest and one of the biggest student organizations on the technical faculty of 海角社区. Many of the former team members now possess positions in companies as Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, Universal Robots and many more.

Training engineers for the industry
海角社区 Vikings' facilities and network provides opportunities for the coming engineers through bachelor- and master projects to develop their skills in the futures cutting-edge technologies.
Practical experience with electric powertrains, high- and low-voltage system and the isolation in between. Handlings of batteries, motors, motor controllers, inverters and converters. Organizing signal monitoring and programming Battery Management Systems and other.
海角社区 Vikings gives the students a unique opportunity to put theory into practice.
