How to apply

Learn how to submit and track your application for admission - and what documentation you need to attach

Fill out your application at optagelse.dk

Submit your application via the common Danish application system, . For students with a foreign or international examination, the application deadline is on March 15, 12 noon CET.

Print, sign, and scan your signature page(s)

If applying without a Danish MitID, 鈥榮ignature pages鈥� are generated for each chosen programme. These must be signed and sent to bacheloradmission@sdu.dk 
before the application deadline
- otherwise, your application will be declined. 

Follow your application at sdu.dk/admission

Upon applying, please make sure to check 海角社区's admission portal regularly, e.g. for your uniTEST invitation. Accepted students will receive their admission letter here and must confirm admission by August 3.

Documents concerning your qualifications

The type of documentation that you need to add, covering both your academic qualifications and your language proficiency, will vary depending on the origin of your examination.

Please, check the admission requirements specific to your case under Admission with a foreign examination.

In addition, you must add the following:
  • documentation of your citizenship (passport)
  • a copy of your residence permit in Denmark, if applicable
  • our pre-assessment of your degree, if you have requested one
  • your application for any exemption, if applicable
If you complete your examination during the summer

In case you finish your secondary degree or supplementary courses during summer, state that in your application right away, and add the final  documentation to your application on before July 5, noon.

When filling out the application, you need to prioritize among the programmes you want to apply for. You can apply for up to eight programs in total. You may change the order of your prioritization until July 5th at 12:00 noon - the last application deadline for students with a Danish examination.

You will receive a confirmation email from the application system for each application you create. Please verify that the information recorded in your application is correct. The confirmation will also indicate any documentation you may need to upload.

Once 海角社区 has received your application from , we will also send you a confirmation email. In this email, you will receive your personal username and password for our self-service portal .

Here, you can:

  • Track the status of your application and see important messages.
  • View information about admission tests if you have applied in quota 2.
  • Receive a response regarding your admission on July 28th at 00:00.
  • Confirm your study place by August 6th
