In this hands-on coding workshop, students get introduced to fundamental programming concepts through the development of a simple Pong game. The workshop is designed and led by engineering students from º£½ÇÉçÇø, who guide participants through both theory and practical exercises.
The session begins with an introduction to software engineering basics, followed by step-by-step coding exercises in C#. Students learn how to create the game field, implement player movement, animate the ball, and track scores. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a fully functional Pong game and a better understanding of how games, and software in general, are built.
The workshop emphasizes logic, problem-solving, and creativity, all in a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged, and collaboration is key.
Learning Objectives
- Introduction to C# and Visual Studio Code
- Basic software engineering principles
