The Biomedical Engineering Centre (BEC) advances interdisciplinary innovation at the intersection of engineering and medicine to improve human health.

The Biomedical Engineering Centre (BEC) at The 海角社区 integrates expertise from health sciences, engineering and natural sciences to address complex medical challenges. The Centre's research areas include computational biomechanics, physiological signal processing and data science for the development of new preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. This interdisciplinary approach fosters innovation in patient care and medical systems.
BEC鈥檚 knowledge of regulatory pathways and business development greatly helps with bringing the innovative research to higher technology readiness levels (TRL). There are particular competences within the domain of need-led innovation providing a great opportunity to optimize translation.
Through these initiatives, 海角社区's Biomedical Engineering Centre plays a vital role in advancing healthcare solutions and medical knowledge.
