Cecilie holds a Master in Marine Biology from University of Copenhagen, and a double degree PhD in Marin Evolutionary Ecology from Roskilde University and University of Jyväskylä in Finland. She has previously worked in policy and consultancy at international NGOs, and comes from a position in the Danish Think Tank Tænketanken Hav.
Cecilie will be supporting and promoting blue research at 海角社区 via stakeholder engagement, policy and citizen engagement. She works with the overall aim of the EU Ocean Mission, to create the framework for restoring ocean and freshwater ecosystems, a sustainable transition into blue circular economy and climate neutrality.
