This project conceptualizes and enables sustainable value chains for reclaimed “waste” materials in the recycling industry. To do so, the aim of this project is to: (1) develop a standardized method for assessing the technical condition of cooling compressors towards reuse and (2) identify key social and environmental sustainability checkpoints for assessing the value chain for these components.
