EXCENTRICC

EXCENTRICC is a platform for scientific collaboration between different disciplines, all working on a common theme: adrenocortical hormones.

WP1 - Improve the identification and diagnosis of patients with cortisol disorders

WP2 - Improve identification of patients at risk for glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis

WP3 - Cortisol and obesity 鈥� a vicious circle?

WP4 - Improve handling of patients with reported symptoms of glucocorticoid-induced adrenal insufficiency after long-term prednisolone treatment.

WP5 - Clarify whether hypercortisolism in patients with Anorexia Nervosa has mental adverse effects

About EXCENTRICC

Headed by professor Jan Frystyk Excellence Center for Improved Diagnostics and Use of Corticosteroids in Clinical Practice (EXCENTRICC), Department of Endocrinology, Odense University Hospital, is awarded "Center for Clinical Excellence" by Region of Southern Denmark
